Small Group Instruction
Our structured, play-based enrichment classes are specifically engineered for children ages 4 to 5. Our program uses evidence-based, multisensory instructional practices to teach phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, early literacy, and mathematics. Lessons are carefully planned to meet children where they are and provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

Starts with first letter/sound in own name, building toward sight words and decodable books.
Listening & Comprehension
Begins with retelling story parts, growing toward full retelling and detail questions.
Writing
Helping children put their thoughts on paper, one letter and word at a time.
Fine Motor & Letter Formation
Starts with pencil grip and tracing, building toward forming uppercase/lowercase letters.

Begins with first letter(s) of their name, growing toward full first and last name.
Expressing Ideas on Paper
Starts with drawings and letter-like marks, building toward simple words and sentences.
Math
Developing number sense and early problem-solving skills.
Counting
Begins with rote counting to 20, growing toward counting to 100 by ones and tens.
Number Recognition
Starts with numerals 0–10, building toward 0–20 and early place value (14=10+4).
Comparing & Combining Numbers
Begins with comparing groups, growing toward addition/subtraction within 10.
Shapes & Patterns
Starts with basic shapes and patterns, building toward 2D/3D shapes and complex patterns.

Begins with sorting and size language, growing toward measurement comparisons.
